For those who have met me at the shows, remember the frenzie of people digging through the bins looking for just the perfect saddle? My booth was always packed and people loved it.
Hand selected by Dr Whiting, he wanted people to pick them up and bend the feathers. There was no way we could have them in packaging, they would have been torn to pieces taking them in and out of the bags...

Whiting Farms Dry Fly Saddles
For over 10 years I did the fly fishing shows and took unpackaged capes and saddles. Now with COVID thats over and I'll be listing them here. The same great quality you've come to expect from Whiting, just not in the package.
I've posted pictures holding the saddle horizontal. This way you can better see the feather count. I've also listed the hook size and feather length. They are priced based on how they compare to a bronze, silver, or gold. Again, no Whiting package, just exceptional Whiting quality - and as you'll see, at a great price!!! Take a look
Badger - Natural & dyed Colors
This is the Hoffman line that Dr. Whiting has been working with since the late 80's. Henry Hoffman developed this line, primarily working with grizzly and white birds. Today there are more colors and the line is the industry standard.
